Traveling with Trucker Tomo: Latest Update on Trucker Tomo!!

As of June 1st, Tomo said 'Good-bye' to Minot, North Dakota. He had a nice time with some wonderful friends there, but the job did not pan out as expected. The experience of driving a belly dump was good, but the working hours were not consistent enough to make it worth his while, plus..... the boy is born for the open road, and hauling gravel, dirt from point A to point B, just wasn't exciting enough. Tomo still has 'itchy feet' to see the other parts of the country so.... he will be heading out for the open highway this coming week, if all goes as planned.

Here are some highlights of his time in North Dakota!!

May 18th in Minot, North Dakota

This is a belly dump and that is the pile of dirt that they were hauling from point A to point B.

May 19th on the ranch!

This is the landscape of North Dakota. The property of some of the friends that Tomo became acquainted with. He helped out with the branding of the new stock.

Tomo and a friend named Tyler spend a few hours out on the roads kicking up lots of mud!! Mud, trucks and boys....... need we say more!!

May 29th, in the North Dakota MUD

Tomo made it back to Granite Falls, Washington for the graduation of his buddy Tanner!! AS usual in that part of the state, outdoor graduation with umbrellas as it tends to rain often on the coast!!

The Graduate!!

Some of the folks at Granite Falls High School had a car wash to help support one of the teachers there that is having major health issues. The proceeds all went to help him and his family out. So.... before the big drive down to Logan, Utah, Tomo took the truck and trailer in for a scrub and shine!!

Saturday, June 9th!

Looks pretty nice!!

Tomo headed back to Granite Falls, Washington and attended his young buddy's graduation. Then drove a load of filters for his former boss down to Logan, Utah and picked up a load and is not on the way back.
