Arrived at the
pumpkin farm in Farmington, NM at 10:00. Got in line behind the other trucks to
check in for my pickup. Finally at 13:30 got to check in, found out I was the
50th truck that day. Then had to wait more to get escorted out to the field
which happens at 16:30. Finally finally came my turn to get loaded at 18:30
only to face the sundown at 19:30 and the whole operation stopped.
A whole crew of
15 or so working a good one hour and my trailer is not even half way yet.....
Now I'm in the desert/pumpkin field along
with 10 or so other trucks for the night.
