Welcome to the EASTERN STATES where you either pay
the outrageous tolls and fuel prices to go the shortest way.......
or avoid the tolls and go the long way around but
still pay the extra/outrageous fuel prices!
Not much of a choice!
The East Coast Toll roads and Bridges make it very
difficult to enjoy trucking out there. This lovely
little bridge across the Hudson River on I-280
in New York is called the Tappan Zee Bridge.
It cost me $32.75 ..... to cross this bridge!

THE DRAMA DURING A RESET!!
While taking a rest during my reset:
Tomo: (dozing off a little)
(Bang bang Bang) on the side of the cab.
Tomo: grrrrrr......... (what now???)........
(Get out of the sleeper area and crank the window down)
A Black lady dressed in real high class fashion is standing by my truck......
Lady: (shows me a booklet) 'You wanna buy my TOMBSTONE?'
TOMO: ................huh??........
Lady: Or you could make a donation for this &%$#"%&''
Tomo: (sigh) .......... not today ........
Lady: OK!!! Sorry to bother ya!!! Have a GOOD DAY!!
On my way to customer's location in Petersburg, Virginia.
Brick Buildings look absolutely cool at times.
Traffic in the Bronx, New York.
Made the mistake of trusting the GPS at the wrong place,
at the wrong time and look what I got....
This ended up taking me through
Queens---Brooklyn---Staten Island---New Jersey!!!
NOT FUN AT ALL!!
I'll stay happy as long as I don't have to come back to NYC
in a TRUCK AND TRAILER!
Didn't expect one could receive a signal underwater!
Delaware Memorial Bridge over the Delaware River
(Delaware/Maryland stateline)

or as another trucking buddy says
"Yep, that way and..... in the mirror fading away behind ya"
